The story of the giant Goliath and the boy David.

There was a time of battle between two countries: the Israelites and the Philistines. The giant Goliath was the leader of a thousand armies in the country of the Philistines. He was a tall, strong, and haughty man. He wanted to make the Israelites his slaves, so he started a war with them, but there were no Israelites who could fight with this giant. The king of Israel was King Saul, who was afraid of fighting with the giant Goliath. So they were so afraid of this giant while he was threatening them every morning and evening of the day, saying, "Send men to fight with me; if I win, you and your people will serve me as slaves; but if you win and defeat me, then my people and I will be your slaves." It had been more than forty years since the Israelites suffered from the giant Goliath. They had given up on winning and were living in fear day by day. In between, the small boy was ready to fight with him; his name was David. He was a shepherd and a really handsome and courageous boy. He went to fight with the giant Goliath with the permission of King Saul. The giant was so angry when he saw David in the field of battle. He told David, "Am I a dog?" You have come to fight with me with your staff. "Come, I will kill you and feed your flesh to the birds and wild animals." Then David said to the Giants, "You have come to fight with me with spears and swords, but I have come to fight with you in the name of our most high God, and I will kill you and cut your head off." He also said that today the whole world will know that there is a living God in Israel. Then, as the giant was coming near to kill David, David took out the stone from his bag and slung it, striking Goliath on the forehead. At once, the goliath died. David took out the sword of Goliath and cut off his head. The whole people of the Philistines knew there was a living God in Israel, so they ran away from there. The people of Israel were happy. The moral of this story is that the trusting in the lord is far better than trusting in one's might and wisdom..

God is not irresponsible janitor.

God is holy and just judge. He is loving and compassionate God. He is not only life giver lord but also, he is judge who will judge according to our day-to-day work. He will not leave to punish who are doing sin against God. Traffic police can be irresponsible janitor because he takes bribes to hide the mistake of people . God never to do that, he will not hide anyone’s sin and evil work but judge it righteously. Habakkuk 1:13 says’ your eyes are too pure to look on evil and you can’t tolerate wrong. God can’t tolerate the wrong. If God tolerate the wrong, he can be unjust gods but he is not like that. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of God’s throne (89:14).   How can God love and judge at the same time?  One can this happening on the cross. God judge Christ on the cross at the same time he loved and forgave to those who trust in the redemptive work of Christ on the cross. God is not unscrupulous janitor so he judged Christ and destroy the sin saved the...
