Picture taken on the way to fulchwoki Date:   December 29, 2024 Today is the third last day of the 2024 years. So, we planned to go the fulchwoki located in Lalitpur. It is 13 km away from the Godavari bus stop. It took 2 hours for us to reach there by riding the scooter from the Sattobato chwok. It is very good place for hiking. We show many people were going there and coming from there. As nature lover, i was enjoying so much to reach Fulchwoki hill. As we were going up. We were able to see beautiful place from there. It is very peace and romantic road.   So we took some picture on the way. We show some professional photographer on the way to there. Some were standing on the road or there were sitting near the pond and waiting for birds to drink water and they are silently waiting to take their picture while drinking water. I told my fried let's look at it my friends suddenly saying it is nothing there but we unfortunately disturbed some photographer there. ...

Are there tongues and prophecies today?

The bible is not only book of theological but also historical. I have found this topic very controversial throughout the history of Christian after reading some books and article. I have found two group of people in the history is called cessationism and continuationism who gave their views on this topic. The people who hold the cessationism says that there is no tongue and prophecy for today because it stopped along with the end of the apostolic age.    Paul clearly says the love never falls but prophecy and tongues will be ceased it means for them it stopped    and there is no more of tongue for today. They say that speaking in Tongues ceased when the Bible arrived and the signs followed the Apostles, the apostles are gone, therefore, the signs are gone, or we have the word of God no need to supernatural gifts. But the believers who hold the view of the continuationism says that    tongues and prophecy is still for today.    It has not stopped...

What is apocalyptic literature?

  1. Definition of apocalyptic literature The Greek word for apocalypse is apokalypis, meaning revelation or unveiling. [1] It is about future events like the final judgment of humankind, the second coming of Jesus Christ, the new heaven, and so on. There are two true apocalyptic literatures within the Bible, which are the book of Daniel and the book of Revelation. [2] There are other apocalyptic literatures outside the canon, like the Jewish apocalypse. It is said that the Jewish apocalypse flourished during the inter-testamental period. Some other apocalyptic literatures are 1 and 2 Enoch, Jubilees, and 2 and 3 Baruch. The media of revelation in the apocalypses are usually dreams or visions, in which vivid symbolic imagery often features and is then interpreted by an angel. Sometimes the revelation is conveyed in a long discourse by an angel or in dialogues between the angel and the seer. Sometimes the seer is taken on a tour of the cosmos to see its contents. A vision of the ...

Critical evaluation and role of the television in Christian families

Introduction Television is the source of information or communication, and media play a significant role in everyone's life. TV is one of the mass mediums. TV has become a very big part of our lives today. Basically, its duty is to inform, educate, and entertain. In this paper, I am going to write about critical evaluation and the role of television in Christian families. Television The word television is derived from the Latin word "tele," which means far and distance, and the Latin word vision," which means sight. Therefore, the television is a widely used telecommunications system for broadcasting and receiving moving pictures and sound over a distance. John Logie Baird invented the television. His first TV set was made of scissors, an old tea chest, and some sealing wax. Christian families. The Christian family is the one that lines up with biblical principles and in which each member of the family understands and fulfills their God-given role. The f...

Key themes of the Old Testament: A Survey of Major Theological Themes by David E. Graves

Introduction A survey of the Bible through the use of themes is helpful to acquire an overview of the purpose and development of the Old Testament. It soon becomes apparent that even though the Bible was written over a period of ca. 3000 years by many diverse authors, it is a coherent message about the condition of humanity and the need for a divine redeemer. We began with four chapters dealing with the Bible itself because what we know about God is revealed through the Bible. Summary Chapter One provided an overview of the history of the English Bible. It addressed the questions of how we got the Bible, what languages are used in the Bible, and the need for translating the Bible into the language of the people. Chapter Two laid out the need for God to reveal himself to us if we are ever going to know anything about him, and we saw the importance of God revealing himself understandably to man in the Bible. We are not left groping in the dark, hopelessly trying to discover God....
